Well her name is Kokeshi and she originally comes from a place with beautiful misty mountains where dazzling dragons live. There are a lot beautiful stories about her. In the north of her mysterious island it is custom to give a Kokeshi doll when a child is born and legend says that whoever receives her will have good fortune. When Mr Maria met little Kokeshi we immediately loved her minimalistic features combined with a strong sense of kindness that makes her fit perfectly with our brand style. Vakre og spesielle lamper fra Mr Maria.

Mr Maria er et nederlandsk designstudio beliggende i Amsterdam. Studioet ble grunnlagt av Jannes Hak og Lennart Bosker . Fra navnet og logoen kan du se  at de er en merkevare med et lekent kunstnerisk uttrykk.  Mr Maria sier selv : Vi har ikke en entydig filosofi , men snarere et fordomsfritt syn som oversettes til konsept og form. Mr Maria har som mål å skape iøynefallende produkter for barn i alle aldre. Forme skyer til rene,  varme kreasjoner er vårt hovedmål som designere . " Vi lager ikke produkter ,  vi skaper stjerner !
